With all of the Thanksgiving Festivities, you can get pretty tired of turkey and mashed potatoes pretty quickly. And with the go to leftover recipe being turkey sandwiches year after year, who can really blame you for wanting something new? I've pulled together 20 recipes that give you some ideas for all your Thanksgiving leftovers that aren't the same old sandwiches.

LEFTOVER: TURKEY

1. Thanksgiving Casserole

This Thanksgiving Casserole is the mother of all thanksgiving leftover recipes. This uses just about everything that showed up on your table yesterday. If you want quick and easy, that’s exactly what this is.

2. Turkey Pot Pie
Leftovers: Turkey, Pie Crust, Green Beans, Peas, and Carrots
Another catch-all recipe. This pot pie uses your meat, your vegetables, and even the pie crust left over from your desserts.

These turkey dressing meatballs look SO good. They’re such a versatile food, working in a sandwich, with pasta, or even on their own. This is the perfect way to turn your leftovers into a completely new food.

I actually love being able to use everything from a meal! Using the bones to make stock is the perfect way to put every part of your Thanksgiving meal to use.

Tortilla soup is one of my favorite foods so the fact that I can make some out of my Thanksgiving leftovers is probably the most exciting thing I’ve heard in a while honestly.

8. Turkey Cranberry Enchiladas:

Definitely not a recipe I would have thought of for leftover Thanksgiving food, but a pretty dang good one. I love that it’s a completely new type of food that you’re turning your basic Thanksgiving food into.

9. Shepherds Pie:
Leftovers: Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Roll Dough, Green Beans, Corn, Gravy
I know that I had the pot pie already, but this Shepherd’s pie is another great catch all recipe that you can use to really use up any and all of your leftovers this Thanksgiving.

10. Cran-Apple BBQ Pulled Turkey Sandwich:
Leftovers: Turkey, Cranberry Sauce, Apple Sauce, Gravy, Rolls
I’m actually so intrigued about this recipe. If anyone makes this, PLEASE let me know because it sounds so so good. (I’m a sucker for BBQ anything if you can’t tell).

11. Ham and Potato Soup:

I agree with the Ham >Turkey side of the argument, so I support anyone interested in these recipes. This is another recipe that uses the bone so obviously I’m loving it.

12. Freeze Ham

Not only does this site have multiple ham recipes, it has directions on how to freeze ham, which is honestly something I somehow never thought of. Definitely one of the best idea for how to keep that leftover ham for an extended period of time.

Chicken’s a bit untraditional of a Thanksgiving dinner, but couldn’t leave those of you out who favor it over turkey (and I can’t say I don’t agree with you). This chicken recipe doesn’t only use up you leftover chicken, but just about everything else you had leftover for dinner too.
